The first modern style branch of the Czech Post is in OC LETMO

After 80 years, when the Czech Post operated its branch in the immediate vicinity of Brno's main railway station in a building that is historically very valuable, but from today's point of view is no longer completely suitable for the operation of the post office, it was moved on 15 May 2024. The Post Office established cooperation with the nearby Letmo Shopping Centre and opened a brand new branch there, the first in Brno, which offered a new concept of service, a more pleasant environment than the original branch, especially thanks to the open space that removes imaginary and real barriers between postmen and their customers.

They can now avail of services at 19 counters. They can use the Balíkovna counters, the universal counters, the public administration contact counters offering CzechPOINT services, which are currently increasingly used, and the specialised ČSOB bank counter. A modern environment has been created here that is more suitable for both employees and visitors. On the 4th floor, newcomers will find letter, money and parcel services, with generous opening hours. The branch is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 12pm on Saturdays.

On the fifth floor of the department store, clients can use CzechPOINT services at three public administration counters. Here, clients obtain verified outputs from several public administration information systems, for example from the criminal record, the real estate cadastre, or here they can report a business or request new access data to the data box. Here they can have documents and signatures verified, use the PostSignum certification authority or other services.

The branch in a busy location near a train and bus hub has a calling system that offers a whole range of modern features for the efficient handling of postal matters. Among the most prominent of them is the possibility to enter a code for picking up the package, so the client will receive his package almost immediately. Another used option of the recall system is ordering at a branch.

Primarily, if you want to use more time-consuming services and go to the post office right away and spend as little time as possible, the post office offers the option of online booking. You can make an appointment in advance for a specific day and time at frequented branches that have a call-out system. On the website or in the Pošta Online mobile application, you select the date and service that your visit concerns. We will confirm your reservation by SMS and e-mail, where you will find the reservation code. When you arrive at the post office, you just enter it into the call-up system and it's your turn right away. Clients who want to visit a public administration counter or a special ČSOB counter, as well as others, will appreciate the use of booking a visit date.
